Merton was formed in 1965 by the merger of the Municipal Borough of Mitcham, Wimbledon and the Merton and Morden Urban District, all of which were formerly within Surrey.

The main centres in Merton are Mitcham, Morden, Wimbledon, Raynes Park, Colliers Wood

and Pollards Hill.

The Merton Neighbourhood Wardens patrol areas within the wards of Abbey, Cricket Green, Figges Marsh, Lavender Fields, Pollards Hill and St Helier.

The Town Centre Wardens are active in Mitcham and Wimbledon Town Centres.

Merton helps puts you in contact with the wardens & environmental officers in this area, and the services they provide.

You can find out about local projects and the people who provide services in this area, and make requests directly to them.
